Announcing The 4th Annual Drumming Up Wishes, benefiting Make-A-Wish Maine. The event, in its fourth year, will be at Funky Brewery and Beer Company, Lyman, ME, on Sunday, May 5th, from noon-6 pm. Founded by professional drummer and double-wish dad, Jeff Glidden, the yearly show raises donations for Make-A-Wish Maine. MAWM’s mission is to grant critically-ill Maine children and their families life-changing wishes. This theme for this year’s show is “WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS”, featuring friends and bands who share a long history with Drumming Up Wishes and Make-A-Wish Maine. This year’s event will feature event founder jwg playing with:
DIAMOND SKY-An incredible jam-based band featuring Rob Carlson & Dan Mayo, who have played every DUW show.
WAKE UP MAMA-Returning from last year, WUM features some of Maine’s premier musicians paying an amazing tribute to the Allman Brothers Band. WUM are proud to be back with an exciting new line-up featuring Charlie Bonnin on vocals and Richard Corson on guitar.
CONTINENTAL SHAKEDOWN-L/A-based Continental Shakedown, featuring guitarist Ken Goodman & bassist Charlie Bradbury, have a long history of supporting MAWM and our events. A rocking band, we are proud to welcome CS to this year’s show…and…
TIME PILOTS-Maine’s favorite party band, TIME PILOTS plays EVERYTHING, from Stapleton to Timberlake. DUW is so happy to have TIME PILOTS at this year’s show.
Last year’s show raised an amazing $4272. Our goal this year is to double that, thus granting a full wish…us…in a single afternoon.
